gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Process Technician / Shift Mechanic to work at their facility based near Wrexham

Performance Objectives

  • Achieve target reliability on assigned Line(s).
  • Accurate use of ICONICS to track performance.
  • Adherence to SAP Production Plan.
  • Completion of TPM activities on assigned Line(s).
  • Record & minimise Spoilage on assigned Line(s).
  • Record & minimise UPD on assigned Line(s).
  • Complete First Line Maintenance.
  • Tackle minor breakdowns and escalate when necessary.
  • Manage KANBAN levels of assigned Line(s).
  • Work accurately to SAP Production plan to avoid Under/Over Production.
  • Actively participate in C.I. activities, PPS sessions and Tier meetings.
  • 6S Audit Completion of assigned area.
  • Adherence to all Site Safety Policies & Procedures.
  • Reporting of accidents, unsafe conditions and behaviours.
  • Documentation compliance (control plan, pack spec).
  • SAP QM completion.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Person Specification

  • Computer Literate
  • Quality & Customer Focus
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and expand skill set
  • C&G / BTEC or equivalent qualifications preferred
  • O' Level/GCSE in English & Math
