This full-time role will start in September 2024 and continue until Christmas, with the potential for extension. Job Description:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students through engaging lessons and a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Science education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Science to students of all ages and abilities.
- Enhanced DBS (this can be processed through Reed).
- EWC membership.
- Rights to work in the UK.
- NQTs/ECTs welcome.
