Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant to make a positive impact in one of our Secondary schools in Wrexham.

The role includes:

  • 1:1 and small group support to an identified group of students, delivering engaging lessons tailored to a range of abilities, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting in the organisation and preparation of learning materials for a dynamic educational setting.
  • Maintaining transparent communication with teachers, parents, and stakeholders is integral to supporting the overall development of students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in SEND or a similar educational environment - essential
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment
  • Hold an enhanced DBS and EWC
