We are looking for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to join our woodworking team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality wood components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in CNC machining, a deep understanding of woodworking, and the ability to work with precision to meet production targets and specifications..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC wood machining equipment (e.g., routers) to manufacture custom and production wood components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and design specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Select appropriate materials, tools, and bits for each job, ensuring optimal machine performance and product quality.
  • Carry out machine adjustments and tool changes as required during the production process.
  • Monitor machine operations, performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, precision, and adherence to specified tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot machine and programming issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting CNC machines to ensure optimal operation.
  • Sand, finish, and prepare wood components for further processing or assembly as needed.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, particularly in the use of power tools and woodworking machinery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
