About the Role:

Are you an experienced financial professional ready to lead in a growing innovative engineering environment?We are partnered with a growing Engineering company who are looking for a strategic thinking Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and financial expertise, coupled with a proactive approach to process improvement and business insight.

You will have the opportunity to oversee and enhance financial operations, contribute to key decision-making processes, and play a vital role in system and process optimisation's. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking accountant looking to leverage their skills in management and financial accounting while leading improvement projects.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and oversee accurate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead audit preparations and ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments, identifying risks and opportunities.
Work closely with operational teams in the business to understand cost drivers, improve efficiency and support project-based accounting.
Implement robust cost control measures, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.
Partner with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and project-based accounting.
Mentor non-finance colleagues and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Play a key role in acquisition projects, including contract management and financial transitions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
Minimum of 7 years experience in management accounting.
Experience within Manufacturing, Engineering, Fabrication (or similar sectors) would be beneficial.
Proven track record of participating in audits, including preparation and management of audit processes.
Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts, including due diligence and integration.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and financial regulations.
Strong leadership with analytical and communication skills.
