Job Title: Forklift Driver / Warehouse Stock Runner
Location: Wymondham, NR18
Salary: £23,943.92 P/A
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday, Rotating Weekly (Week 1: 7am - 3pm, Week 2: 3pm - 11pm)
Gap Personnel are proud to be working with a leading company in their field of written communications. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking to hire a Warehouse Stock Runner with forklift driving duties to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, with forklift training provided, including on a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (training will be provided on VNA forklift) to transport stock between warehouse locations.
- Inventory Management: Assist with regular stock checks and ensure inventory is correctly organized, stored, and easily accessible.
- Stock Movement: Move goods across the warehouse, ensuring all products are stored in their designated locations to maximize space and improve operational flow.
- Order Picking and Packing: Assist with order picking, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery requirements.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following all health and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stock handling role is beneficial.
- Willingness to undergo training for VNA forklift operation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving stock as required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check (this is a requirement for the role).
