About the opportunity:
- Oversee technical aspects of construction projects from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and approve design specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, addressing challenges as they arise.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in construction practices and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of technical documents, including plans, specifications, and compliance reports.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on technical matters.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to 70k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Previous experience as a Technical Manager or Design Manager with a national or regional housebuilder.
- Strong team leadership skills with the drive to achieve business goals.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Extensive experience with established development methodologies.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a major company
- Engineering, Architecture, or relevant professional qualification (HNC, RIBA, NVQ Level 4/5).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant IT tools, including AutoCAD/Revit.
