About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Audio Visual Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the audio visual industry, looking to develop their skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment. As a technician, you will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for a variety of events, meetings, and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, staging, sound systems
  • Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during events and productions.
  • Transport a variety of equipment from the warehouse to a range of venues in the North-West.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of both sound and visual output during live events, meetings, and recordings.
  • Maintain and inventory equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and stored safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service execution.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures when handling equipment and working on-site.

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK driving license (needs to be able to drive a van)
  • Technical experience with AV equipment
  • General IT knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Based in or near Manchester, with a willingness to travel
