ARE YOU A PRODUCTION PLANNER FROM A MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND? DO YOU HAVE ERP SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE?
Production Planner role available within a well established and successful manufacturer who are market leading within their industry.
The role would suit production planners, materials planners or candidates from any kind of planning capacity within a manufacturing environment. Applicants must have proven experience using ERP systems. To apply for the role, you must have good administrative skills and be confident with IT packages.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the creation of routes for parts to ensure that they are manufactured efficiently in the most cost effective way and to a high quality standard. You will select and download specific programmes for manufacturing cells as part of the production process. As part of your role, you will work closely with the Packing Team Leader on the creation of packing lists to ensure products are dispatched in full. You will have involvement in stock checks, stock control and purchasing activity. ERP systems are a big part of this role, making sure they are updated and investigating any discrepancies.
This is a varied position within a very experienced team environment. The company currently has plans for growth within their global/international portfolio and increasing these channels. This role will play a big part within these plans and help to shape the success of the business moving forward.

*Route creation for parts
*Creating and downloading programmes for manufacturing cells (cutting and punching)
*Creation of packing lists for dispatch/distribution
