Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Procurement Programmes Controller to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. This role is initially a 1 year contract, with potential of extension.
Responsibilities:

• Support the Procurement Programme Specialist (PPS) team in liaison with the wider P&SC team buyers to obtain latest information and provide status reporting against each programme as required
• Using SAP and directly with P&SC and Finance/Programme Management or other functions to collate necessary financial data to support reporting on behalf of the Purchasing Programmes Military Utility & Naval team.
• Responsibility for the production of monthly and quarterly Contract Performance Reporting (CPR) for each customer programme (as agreed with PM-MU&N) with regard to Non Recurring Costs (NRC) and where necessary recurring cost
• Strive for continuous alignment of programme recurring and non recurring procurement costs with Company agreed Run cost calculators every month in support of monthly and quarterly CPR for each programme until P&SC Governance assume responsibility for producing reporting from actual cost data held within SAP.
• Support PPS's in maintaining P&SC cost trackers during development and into Production phases.
• Supporting PPS's and in liaison with P&SC Procurement and Contract Specialists teams, monitor and report NRC milestones status. In support of PM-MU&N maintain monthly KPI's wrt programme spend for P&SC Senior Leadership Team MCR
• Provide support to PPLs and PM – MU&N to provide as required more detailed analysis of programme financial spend in respect to target cost and budget performance for both RC and NRC
• Run daily SAP report to show all NRC requisitions raised against customer programmes, passing such reports to PPLs highlighting any new Add New NRC requirements to Customer programme cost trackers.
• Assist in the validation of the overall procurement activity including PO placement, liaising with P&SC team Procurement / Contracts Specialists and programme managers as directed by PPLs or PM –MU&N . Assist in the status reporting of activity against progress within the Procurement Plans where
• Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing Programmes – Military Utility & Naval team as required by the PM-MU&N
• You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.

• Able to prepare documentation for senior management
