An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialist leader in complex industrial automation in a position offering progression, further training opportunities, and great room for growth in an ambitious and growing business.
This company is a growing industrial automation and robotics specialist known for delivering its sophisticated products to blue-chip and SME organisations globally.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the design and management of electro-mechanical systems from concept to implementation using a combination of computer-aided analysis, modelling, and prototyping. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the design documentation, lead and participate in reviews, and provide guidance and advice to all members of the mechanical engineering team. The role is office-based in Yeovil and will require travel to customer sites.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong track record of delivering projects from concept to installation. Ideally, the right candidate will have strong proficiency in orthographic drawings as well as computer-based modelling tools such as MATLAB or Simulink. Due to the senior nature of the role, the right candidate will have experience in mentorship and providing guidance to their team.

*Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel to customer sites
