We're looking for an experienced Company Secretary to join a well-established holiday parks company. Based at their head office in Dorset, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO in a vibrant and supportive environment known for its exceptional staff retention.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for a wide range of company secretarial duties, including the management of statutory returns, handling share transfers, and overseeing updates to the company’s statutory books and registers. You will also play a key role in drafting and distributing AGM notices, maintaining director details, and managing board and audit committee minutes.

You will serve as the principal liaison between the company and its external solicitors, ensuring smooth communication and the timely handling of all legal matters. This will involve coordinating the sale and purchase of parks and clubs, reviewing contracts, and providing detailed advice. Your expertise will also be crucial in advising on the terms of settlement agreements and drafting legally compliant documents.

The role further extends to handling various commercial and residential property aspects, including internal advice on lease terms, managing relationships with external surveyors for rent reviews, and overseeing annual budget approvals with managing agents. Additionally, you will provide internal guidance on pension matters, liaise with professional trustees and external legal advisors, and manage general litigation processes in collaboration with brokers and business units.
