Your new roleYou will work as a dedicated Adaptations Surveyor - if you thrive on problem-solving, enjoy working on a variety of projects, and have a keen eye for detail, then this could be an excellent next role for you. In this role, you will provide expertise for alterations, adaptations, and property permissions across housing stock, designing and delivering bespoke adaptation projects, ensuring that they are completed to the highest possible standard. You will undertake feasibility assessments to grant permission to residents seeking to make a change to their property, liaising with building control teams in local authorities throughout. What you'll need to succeedStrong problem-solving skills in this role will be essential, as well as the ability to work on a variety of projects at any one time. An excellent understanding of building pathology in a residential setting will be critical to your success in this role, alongside an understanding of building control processes and regulations. What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a starting salary of up to £49,000, but, salary is only a small part of the wider package on offer.
