Sonic Summary

This is a newly created management accountant role based between York and Harrogate, focusing on supporting the Head of Finance.
The position offers hybrid working with two days from home and requires experience in monthly management accounts and system improvements.
Candidates should ideally be part qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience, with Power BI experience being advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities include supporting departmental budgets, accruals, prepayments, VAT returns, and assisting with the year-end audit process.

Based between York and Harrogate this is an excellent opportunity to join a people focused business in a newly created management accountant role to support the Head of Finance. This is a hybrid working role with two days WFH with a focus on supporting on monthly management accounts and system improvement work. Any experience in Power BI would be advantageous although not essential.With an excellent reputation locally this could be an excellent progression role for a part qualified, Qualified or qualified by experience accountant.The role will include;

Supporting the head of finance on monthly management accounts.
Supporting on departmental budgets and forecasts.
Accruals, prepayments and reconciling balance sheet.
Business partnering across the functions within the organisation.
VAT returns.
Assistance with year- end audit process.
