We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our client a small but mighty business looking to expand their existing team.

The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the organisation. This role is integral to their business as they source products from Europe and cater to a diverse customer base in the UK, including retail service sectors.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Utilising Sage software for order processing, supplier invoice processing, and customer invoicing.
  • Managing truck movement paperwork, including Brexit-related documentation.
  • Coordinating with the warehouse for communications and bookings.
  • Managing the Director’s inbox, organising emails, and keeping folders up to date.
  • Processing customer orders and advising of any shortfalls (leading to transfer of stock requirements).
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers, assisting them with their enquiries in a professional manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer use, with daily operation of Excel.
  • Sage experience preferred but not essential.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain order and efficiency in administrative processes.
