We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Course Manager in Arboriculture in North Yorkshire.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Forestry or Arboriculture, who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Arboriculture qualifications.
  • Manage course groups within the department, ensuring high standards of education and student satisfaction.
  • Deliver a range of units at various levels, incorporating both theoretical and practical elements.
  • Engage in continuous personal and professional development to enhance teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to foster an inclusive and dynamic educational environment.

Required Skills:

  • Qualifications: Degree level education or above in Forestry, Arboriculture, or a related field.
  • Must have NPTC Certificate and experience in chainsaw maintenance and aerial rescue etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of forestry and arboriculture.
  • Proven experience in further education, ideally within the sector of Arboriculture or Ecology.
  • Strong commitment to educational excellence and student success.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
