The role of the Assistant Park Manager involves working closely with the Deputy and Park Manager to lead, develop, and motivate a team.

Managing the daily operations of the park, ensuring exceptional customer service, and adhering to brand standards and procedures.

Fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and shared responsibility, and act as a brand ambassador by being commercial, creative, and innovative in shaping the team culture.

The role is paying £28k per annum with attractive benefits.

The working hours are 40hours per week including weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team upholds the company values.
  • Drive the park's financial performance by managing KPIs and using financial and feedback data.
  • Maintain high standards of customer engagement, activities, and service.
  • Manage cost control, labour, and purchasing efficiency on-site.
  • Ensure consistent H&S compliance and pass all audits.
  • Ensure consistent F&B compliance and pass all audits.
  • Ensure events are well advertised, fully booked, and successfully delivered.
  • Be visible and lead on the park floor.
  • Ensure smooth, well-run parties that create lasting memories.
  • Build strong relationships with peers.
  • Stay updated on internal procedures, industry trends, and competitor activity.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience managing financial data and KPIs
  • Experience managing and leading large teams
  • Event planning and execution experience
  • Knowledge of welfare and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace
  • Strong customer service and engagement skills
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children and customers
  • Knowledge of industry Health & Safety standards and compliance
  • Tech-savvy
  • Proficient in core Microsoft applications
  • Background in service-led industries (e.g., hospitality, adventure parks, family leisure entertainment) is desirable
  • IOSH qualification is desirable
  • First aid qualification is desirable
