Location: York (office based)

Salary: £25,000, realistic OTE £40k+

Role overview:

As a part of the Sales team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our business forward. You'll be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing existing relationships and providing outstanding customer service. Your resilience, tenacity and can-do attitude will be key in your success and progression. Key areas you'll be responsible for:

  • Booking Meetings: Outbound sales through a multi-channel approach of; calls, campaign calls, emails, social outreach and networking
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities for growth through engagement with a range of prospects and establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Sales Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the sales teams and other internal stakeholders to develop account-specific sales plans and strategies along with developing action plans, and monitoring progress towards achieving sales objectives

Further to the above you will work in tandem with the Account Managers/Directors to manage the sales pipeline, whilst maintaining impeccable administration and updating all activity.

What we are looking for:

This opportunity really lends itself to someone who has either existing experience within selling over the phone/face-to-face, or someone who is keen to kickstart their career within the IT sector. Personality really counts in this role, the team are great and all on the same page in regards to forging a career. Needless to say the below would be beneficial:

  • Previous phone experience and a record of achieving through work, education or personal ambition
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Resilience and tenacity to handle challenges and maintain a positive attitude
  • A proactive, can-do personality with a drive to achieve and exceed targets
