IT Director - Ops/Development/Data/Change - York
I’m working with a multisite, UK based business, embarking on a period of technology improvement and modernisation. Embarking on a huge period of investment, they require a technology leader that has the ability to bridge the gap between business expectation and technology capability. The initial part of this role will be to audit the existing technology estate, with review needed across people, processes and systems. From here the IT Director will look to build a long term technology strategy and create a roadmap for modernisation and improvement. You’ll be leading a strong team of c50 heads. Experience of leading large teams, spotting opportunities for people development /training and nurturing managers will be a pre-requisite here. You’ll need to retain a level of technical capability and have strong experience of working collaboratively with your Managers/Heads’ of, to deliver against the long term strategy. Experience of managing internal Development, Data, IT Ops (a mix of cloud and on-prem) and Change/projects teams will be important too. Experience of working in a multisite business (Facilities/Retail etc) would definitely be of preference. The role will be office based in York.
The role is paying £120,000 plus wider bonus and LTIP incentives.
