The UK’s leading turf grower and supplier of Britain’s Finest Turf is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join its Seaton Ross site near York. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday. You will operate as part of a small team, delivering industry-leading sales and support to new and existing customers. You will take responsibility for nominated customer groups, processing orders and amendments, taking inbound telephone and email queries, and assisting in proactive outbound activity when required. This role requires an organised individual with a good eye for detail, who can balance the demands of order processing and dealing with issues effectively and professionally. As Customer Service Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering industry leading levels of sales and support
  • Taking inbound calls from nominated customer groups. 
  • Making outbound calls to arrange deliveries.
  • Taking orders and subsequent amendments by telephone, fax, EDI or email and process them through the SOP system. Accuracy in this area is vital. 
  • Liaising closely with colleagues in Distribution to ensure that deliveries are executed
  • Maintenance of accurate records of all contacts and transactions using DEFACTO SOP & CRM
  • Gaining exceptional knowledge of all the product ranges within the company brands
  • Liaising with the sales team over matters arising with key accounts. 
We’re looking for a Customer Service Coordinator with:
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service role
  • Strong attention to detail and experience working to deadlines 
  • Experience building good relationships
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of Excel
