SupportED Recruitment are looking for teaching assistants to work in our York & Selby schools this Autumn 2 term. The short term and long term placements would be either general and 1:1 TA positions predominantly working in KS2, however there are opportunities in EYFS and KS1 if preferred. In the role your duties will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Helping the children with their education, by helping to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis

  • Monitoring pupil progress
  • Generating resources
  • Supporting the class teacher with potential challenging behaviour
