Personal Assistant
  • Hourly Rate: £14.79 PAYE

We are seeking a proactive and confidential Personal Assistant to provide support to an executive director of a local authority which includes liaising with senior managers and cabinet members. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Day to day of the role:
  • Provide efficient and effective personal assistant services to ensure high standards of management support.
  • Accurately record minutes during meetings, capturing all important details and decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate complex schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel plans.
  • Oversee and allocate work to officers in Business Support, ensuring tasks are completed to the required standard.
  • Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance business support functions.
  • Adopt appropriate communication styles for different audiences to ensure clear and effective information exchange.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • PA to executive director level experience
  • Experience in complex diary management.
  • Proficient in minute taking and managing official records.
  • Ability to supervise and direct a team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
