Description

An Audit Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records for their clients. Here are some key responsibilities:

  1. Planning and Executing Audits: Develop audit plans, allocate resources, and oversee the execution of audits to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Team Management: Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  3. Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing insights and recommendations to improve their financial operations.
  4. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess areas of risk within clients' financial systems and processes, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  5. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all audits comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and prepare detailed audit reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, and implement improvements to audit processes and methodologies.

Profile

The successful Audit Manager will be:

- ACA/ACCA qualified

- Previous knowledge and exposure working in a practice with at least 3 years' post qualified experience

- Effective communication, both written and verbal, is necessary to convey audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders

- A deep understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations is essential.

- Building strong relationships with clients and team members is important for collaboration and trust
