Director of Financial Control - Yorkshire (Hybrid) - Six Figure Salary + 25% Bonus + LTIP

This global multi-billion-dollar services business is looking for a Director of Financial Control to own the European financial reporting function as it gears up to double in size over the next five years. That means ensuring the income statement and balance sheet are rock-solid, SOX controls are watertight, and statutory audits run smoothly. You'll be the region's go-to accounting expert, working closely with senior leadership on both sides of the Atlantic.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Keeping SOX compliance running like clockwork
  • Partnering with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services to ensure timely, accurate, and hassle-free reporting
  • Leading and developing a high-performing accounting team
  • Managing statutory audits to prevent last-minute surprises
  • Integrating newly acquired businesses into the regional finance structure
  • Acting as the right hand to the Europe Regional CFO

What You Need to Bring:

  • A Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience leading a controllership function in a large multinational
  • Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX, and statutory reporting
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • The confidence to challenge and influence senior leadership when needed
  • A track record of improving processes and driving efficiency
