Role Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and clients with complex tax affairs
- Reviewing tax returns and other compliance work prepared by junior colleagues
- Providing proactive, efficient, and cost-effective tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing training, coaching, and guidance
- Researching and drafting private client and employment tax advice
- Liaising with colleagues across the firm to enhance client service and technical knowledge-sharing
- Working alongside senior management and partners to improve team efficiency and tax processes
- Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures and implement best practices

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- At least four years’ post-qualification experience in Personal Tax
- Strong technical expertise in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory work
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
- Effective time management and organisational abilities, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- A commercial mindset, able to identify tax planning opportunities for clients
- Experience in supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff
- Some tax advisory experience (desirable but not essential)
- Exposure to other areas of tax (beneficial but not required)
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
