About UsWe are working with a leading housing association in North Yorkshire, committed to providing safe and comfortable homes for our residents. We are looking for a dedicated Head of Health and Safety to join our team and lead our health and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic health and safety plans.
  • Oversee and enhance health and safety systems and processes and compliance data
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Lead and mentor the health and safety team.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance against KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in health and safety and compliance within a social housing setting
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to deliver against KPIs.
