Our client is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes' walk from the historic centre of York.Â
Â
They are looking for a highly motivated and committed nurse (or other health professional e.g. paramedic) to join the School's Medical Team, the purpose of which is to provide safe and up-to date medical care for pupils, visitors and staff. Â This includes assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses, providing emotional support and promoting the wellbeing of the whole school. The role will involve working with pupils aged 2 - 18yrs.

Hours of work: Term time (34 weeks) only plus 2 weeks. Full (37.5 hours per week) though requests for part time hours may be considered. This will include some weekend working on a rota basis, and ad hoc evening working. You may be required to support the school medical team on-call rota which covers evenings and weekends. An additional payment is made for being on call and if called out.

A competitive salary (Dependent on qualifications and experience) is offered, commensurate with this important term-time only role.
