Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Location: York (Hybrid & Flexible Working Available)

A well-established Yorkshire law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join their growing team. Known for their trusted reputation and commitment to excellence, this firm offers a supportive and inclusive working environment.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for residential conveyancing to manage high-quality cases, develop client relationships, and contribute to the firm's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages (leasehold, freehold, registered, unregistered, and new builds)
  • Handling lease extensions and auction transactions
  • Providing support and supervision to colleagues in the team
  • Engaging in business development to grow client relationships
  • Effectively using a case management system to handle workflows efficiently
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and colleagues in a professional and approachable manner

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years PQE with solid experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Strong IT skills with a willingness to embrace legal tech and case management improvements
  • Excellent business development and networking skills
  • Regular access to a car is advantageous
