LSL Property Services PLC, one of the UK's foremost providers of services to mortgage intermediaries and franchised estate agencies, offering a wide range of essential services including mortgage arrangements, valuation services for major lenders, residential sales, lettings, and more.

Our in house Legal team in York are growing and have an opportunity for an Administrator to join the team.

Working as the Legal Administrator, you will receive;

  • £24,000 salary
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • A 35 hours per week contract (core hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm)

Working as the Legal Administrator, you will;

  • Prepare correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Administer filing, including daily filing, and manage the opening, closing, and storage of case and matter files.
  • Attend meetings and take notes/minutes as required.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and enclosures.
  • Undertake administrative tasks such as ordering stationery and equipment.
  • Handle queries via telephone and email, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Collate information for reports and perform scanning and copying tasks as needed.
  • Assist the Company Secretary/Assistant Company Secretary with statutory filings and other tasks as required.
  • Provide general administrative support, including arranging travel for the Legal and Company Secretarial teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policies and the Data Protection Act.
Key Skills and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A positive attitude, with a friendly and polite demeanor.
  • Minimum of Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Experience in office administration, particularly within a legal or corporate setting would be desirable
  • Experience in note-taking or minute-taking would be desirable
