In this role you will be using your leadership, planning & people skills to ensure harvesting runs as efficiently & smoothly as possible. Duties will include distribution and organization of staff, championing health and safety standards and ensuring Supervisor competencies. There is excellent industry specific training so candidates from any fresh produce / food production/operations / management background are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader & strategic thinker from an Operations background with experience in the fresh produce or food manufacturing industries and will be a great communicator and competent in leading teams from the front to produce exceptional results.

The Role:

* Operational Management of up to 150 staff
* Making decisions on staffing, recruitment, people planning
* Monitoring Quality & Health & Safety
* Training & development or supervisors and staff
* Monitor and evaluate KPI'S / statistics

The Person:

*Previous Operations Management experience within a fresh produce or food manufacturing / production environment
*Analytical with the ability to champion industry best practices, a food safety culture and ensuring legislation and company policies are adhered to
* A strong, target driven leader with great planning communication skills who is passionate about driving teams forward through company growth and able to motivate workforce through efficient harvesting activities
