HR Business Partner
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client’s leadership team at their flagship manufacturing site near Carlisle. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic and operational HR support, partnering with site leaders to deliver exceptional HR solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Note: This role is based in Carlisle; however, our client will support suitable candidates who are willing to relocate for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Partner with site leaders to deliver HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade union representatives at local and national levels.
- Lead performance management and talent development activities to support employees in achieving their full potential.
- Coach and upskill managers to enhance leadership capabilities and drive a people-centric culture.
- Collaborate on organisational change initiatives, ensuring compliance and clear communication.
- Develop and refine HR processes, ensuring they are efficient and accessible.
Qualifications
- Significant experience working closely with trade unions, including negotiations and relationship management (essential).
- Strong operational HR experience across areas such as employee relations, performance management, and organisational change.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases from start to resolution.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is highly desirable.
