Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy, correct coding, and timely payments/collections.
  • Raise, track, and confirm supplier orders, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Monitor usage, allocate costs, and handle queries or replacements.
  • Process applications, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare financial summaries, reconcile accounts, and assist with reporting.
  • Process transactions, reconcile statements, and flag discrepancies.
  • Track deliveries, manage backorders, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Identify and procure necessary components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Handle calls, greet visitors, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Complete and process approval forms, ensuring compliance.
  • Process supplier payments, monitor expenses, and manage cashflow.
  • Arrange accommodation for employees, considering budget and location preferences.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a small business
  • Strong IT proficiency fully experienced SAGE line 50
  • Proven ability to manage accounting duties independently
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach
  • Confident communicator with clients and colleagues
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Skilled in utilising IT systems effectively
