I am currently working with a successful law firm, based in York who are looking for a Post Completions Manager to join their firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in Conveyancing and specifically in Post Completions to move up to a higher level with greater responsibility and reward.They are happy to consider part time or full-time hours, with a starting salary of £26,000 to £30,000 pro rata per year depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible to effectively manage the performance of the post completion department.Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • To liaise with the client regularly to update them on the progress of their post completion application
  • To liaise with mortgage lenders, help to buy agents and third parties to update them on any post completion steps
  • To response in an appropriate manner to client instructions
  • Manage a post completions team and provide support in the team reaching their performance targets
  • Identify and try and resolve any minor client complaints post completion
  • Provide post completion technical guidance to the team
  • Monthly review meetings with the team to assess the efficiencies and needs of the department Assist the Conveyancing Director in completing team appraisals
  • Assist with holiday/sickness cover as and when necessary
  • To participate in training sessions regularly
  • To keep informed and updated on conveyancing developments that affect the post completions department
  • To participate in the business of the firm in such a manner so as to develop your own knowledge and skills
  • To contribute to the development of the business, office systems and the organisation of the department
  • Other tasks as from time to time delegated by the Directors.
