Description
- Develop and implement the technical strategy for the fashion department.
- Guarantee the quality of the products, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
- Manage product testing and compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage a team of junior and other garment technologists.
- Collaborate closely with the design and buying teams.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Regularly review processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advances in technology.
- Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Technical Manager should have:
- A strong educational background, preferably in a technical or fashion-related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FASHION industry, specifically INTIMATES/ LINGERIE.
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of industry regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge of delicate fabrics, fit, and quality analysis.
- Superior organisational and management experience of garment technologists.
- The ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
