The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting for passionate, caring, dedicated Support Workers to join a fantastic care provider in York. You will have the satisfaction of working with and being supported by an enthusiastic and caring team that puts people at the heart of the business.

As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality care and support to clients to enable them to live their best life. You will be passionate in making a difference to client’s lives, helping them to fulfil their aspirations and ambitions.

Opportunities available:-

*20-hour contract- Rolling rota - shifts are 5pm - 9pm. Supported living for vulnerable homeless men - support with appointments and activities they might be interested in.

Please note: some flexibility is needed for this, alternative weekend working.

*30-hour contract - This is on a 3 weekly rolling rota and includes days, evenings, and sleep in shifts. This is a supported living house for 3 ladies with learning disabilities who are all independent but require assistance with daily living activities for example, attending appointments, food shopping, meal planning, medication prompting, laundry tasks - washing, drying, and ironing.

Please Note:- Female support worker required- Must be a driver with access to their own car.

*37.5-hour contract -This is supporting adults who live in the community in their own home to access appointments, activities and assist some with personal care.

Please note- Female support workers only required who have UK driving license and access to their own car.

• The ability to work well under pressure.
• Previous experience as a carer
