Salary: £14 - £16ph, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm with additional hours available

Plowman Brothers Ltd is a family-run business just outside of Sutton on the Forest, York. We specialize in the manufacture of Livestock Transportation equipment, water treatment and premium agricultural products. We also undertake bespoke fabrication projects across a wide range of sectors.
Commercial Vehicle Painter - The Role
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Painter to join our paint shop team. The position is available with immediate starts available in this key UK manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities;
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and filling to a high standard.
Preparing blasted surfaces are clean and free of any contaminates.
Working with different substrates including steel and aluminium section
Mixing of paint accurately in line with the manufacturer's specifications.
Apply paint using pressure pots and airless spray equipment.
General upkeep of the painting area, stock management of paints and consumables
Coordination of workload in and out of the painting area
Follow safety protocols and report any issues as necessary
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues.
Commercial Vehicle Painter - What we need from you
Experience;
Worked with a range of painting types and application methods
Attention to detail and previous experience in the commercial vehicle sector.
The role involves use of scissor lifts, electric and air tools as well as work at height.
Proven experience of at least 2 years in commercial vehicle painting
