Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Manager 2 to support a portfolio of programs held within the Special Defense (SD) organization. In this role, the Security Manager will be responsible to manage and supervise a team of security professionals in support of fast-paced, high-profile programs; oversee and manage the SD portfolio’s security programs ensuring compliance with government policies, procedures, and directives; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with government customers; support new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities. In this role, the Security Manager will provide direct functional support to the SD Programs Director. The candidate will also perform as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for a portfolio of programs held within the SD organization. In this role, the CPSO will be responsible for all aspects of the portfolio’s security program including, maintain the physical security integrity and accreditation of multiple SCIFs; conduct periodic self inspections and participate in Government compliance inspections; provide advice and counsel on security matters/activities that affect programs; investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports and take remedial actions, as necessary; understand IC and other government policy and directives to be able to apply solutions to complex tasks/challenges/assignments; participate in and brief security updates at staff and customer meetings, conduct security briefings and training; maintain regular interaction with customer personnel, program managers and staff, and program team members. The candidate will provide leadership and management to multiple direct reports, establish goals, and monitor performance; provide mentorship and development opportunities, as needed; responsible for planning and executing a security labor and expense budget, working closely with leadership for any deviations. The selected candidate must possess strong people leadership skills and collaborative attitude with an ability to foster an inclusive work environment.
