Come be a part of our mission. Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Systems Engineer or a Principal Systems Engineer to support a program out of our Aurora, CO location. This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development and mapping, and integration and test. Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors. This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled as either a Systems Engineer or a Principal Systems Engineer. Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant experience. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application. Experience with requirements development, mapping, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment level test procedures. General knowledge of ground segment architecture. Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work. Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant experience. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application. Experience with requirements development, mapping, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment level test procedures. General knowledge of ground segment architecture. Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using MBSE & Cameo. Data Analysis & RF Mission processing.
