Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, NIS-Communications Solutions (CS) BU, Advanced Communication Apertures (ACA) Operating Unit is seeking a Cleared Sr. Principal Contract Administrator based out of our Baltimore, MD office. What You'll Get to Do: Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. Apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation, and customer relationships. Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on contractual terms and conditions. Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements, prepare proposal submittal documents, and coordinate appropriate levels of internal review and approval. Manage fact-finding, evaluation notices, and negotiations between customer and program team. Build knowledge of FAR/DFARS. Manage and administer Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other reports. Advise management of contractual rights and obligations. Compile and analyze data. Maintain historical information through the closeout process. Basic Qualifications as a Sr Principal Contract Administrator: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance or accounting OR a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management or finance with 3 years of relevant experience. We are willing to consider 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Experience using MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe. Must have a demonstrated understanding of and experience with FAR/DFARS. Must have experience in working various contract types such as Time and Material, Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, ect. US citizenship is required. A current active DoD Secret clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experienced in working large proposal efforts. Knowledge of/experience with administering large development/EMD contracts. Strong negotiation and excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional experience in a regulated industry such as Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, or Telecommunications. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
