RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, phases of implementation, completion dates, milestone reporting, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee all project administration including all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, and risk management.
- Manage efforts across entire project between multiple teams including architects, consultants, vendors, and other subcontractors.
- Create detailed analysis of line-item exposures and thorough forecast of Cost-to-Complete.
- Track and manage Proposed Change Orders, Contract Allowances, Change Order Requests, and Owner Change Orders; work to recover all legitimate GC costs and provide appropriate status reports.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones; develop contingency plans and proactively manage potential project disruptions.
- Maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates on progress and addressing concerns.
- Oversee pre-construction, construction, and project closeout processes, including final inspections and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of construction project management experience
- Extensive experience managing commercial projects
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel to projects sites within the region
