Reporting to their direct Supervisor, the Level 2 Clinician will provide exemplary clinical care (evaluations, treatments, documentation, and professional communication), as well as assist Supervisors with staff development, management support and liaison, administrative tasks, and clinical supervision/mentoring of staff and students.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology program required.
  • Experience
    • Greater than three years’ previous experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
    • Working at Emerson Hospital for greater than 2 years.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
  • Licensure and/or Certification
    • BLS required within 4 months from hire.
    • Current license to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech pathology in Massachusetts required.
  • Skills
    • Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen.
    • Problem-solving skills.
    • Must execute sound judgment all duties.
    • Courteous and professional manner when dealing with people in person and on the phone.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
