Workday People Services Specialist

As our People Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical control support and day-to-day administration of our HCM systems. This position combines a general knowledge of Human Resources with analytical skills to provide data-driven recommendations and solutions.

Note:

This position is 100% remote; however, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Costa Mesa, CA to attend meetings and bi-weekly team collaboration. 

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll have a key role in optimization of HR System functionality thru automation or other system enhancements to deliver an outstanding employee experience.
  • You’ll develop and manage reports or queries using appropriate tools to support organizational needs.
  • You’ll ensure the accuracy and consistency of HRIS data through regular audits and analyses.
  • You will stay informed about the latest trends and developments in HRIS technologies and practices.
  • You will serve as a resource for HRIS knowledge within the organization, aiming to continuously improve system utility and user competence.
  • You will provide reporting support for Workday HCM and for other HR related systems using structures like calculated fields, eligibility rules, and/or condition rules.
  • Daily you will perform a variety of day-to-day HRIS functions ensuring and confirming data integrity and accuracy of all data entered in our Workday instance.
  • You will help leverage Workday capabilities.

What You’ll Need

  • To thrive in the role, you should have at 3 or more years of experience in human resources.
  • You have experience in developing, implementing, and modifying internal organizational reporting / analysis required.
  • You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with end users and business leaders at varying levels.
  • You have previously worked with Human Resources concepts with exposure to People Analytics, Compensation, Benefits, and/or Recruiting.
  • You have an understanding of Workday design, structure, and processes and experience with Workday reporting tools.
  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • You’re a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced, complex, and scaling environment.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills.
  • You have superb verbal and written communication skills, facilitation skills, with the ability to express concepts in basic term.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$71,100.00 - $94,800.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
