Duties for this position include:
- Assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforce good automated manufacturing practice (GAMP) systems
- Validate processes
- Provide good customer relations documentation and manage staff
- Work with external customers by having a strong customer service presence and delivery.Â
- Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
- Prepare and complete action plans
- Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standardsÂ
- Identify and resolve problemsÂ

- Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses
- Identify critical control points and preventive measuresÂ
- Establish critical limits, monitor procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures, and monitor inventories.Â

- Determine operational and performance qualification
- Write and update quality assurance proceduresÂ
- Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance and surveillance auditsÂ
- Investigate customer complaints
- Collaborate with other members of management to develop new product, engineering designs, manufacturing and training methods.Â
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions and re-validations.
- Bachelor's degree. Preferably in the Sciences, Engineering, Quality or Project Management.
- Minimum five (5) years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with proven Quality Management System oversight capability.
- Experience supervising subordinates highly preferred.
- Proficient in Office 2000, (Excel, Work, Access and PowerPoint)
- Excellent grasp and understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control). Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or strong ISO background is a plus. Basic understanding of HACCP and GMP's.
- Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
