Responsible for managing the Scope, Schedule & Budget for major capital construction projects. Projects range from $80-$120M and have significant impact on corporate financial and operational commitments. Assist in developing long range capital plans & forecasts as well as SME for each region related to new construction / renovation projects. Take the lead on new technology projects within Sysco and oversee their implementation (Electric Vehicle & Photovoltaic, alternate energy). Actively managing the scope, schedule & budget of assigned capital projects. Ensure capital projects are fully delivered within the assigned timeframe and budget. Provide notification to management if there will be a deviation from expectation and provide mitigation plans. Capital projects range from new builds to expansions and renovations. Develop bid documents with Developers/General Contractors to execute Sysco capital projects while protecting the corporation’s interest. Mediate and resolve project conflicts. Define, negotiate, execute contractual obligations in support of Sysco Capital Projects. Providing status reports to all project stakeholders, EAM leadership and ELT. Developing “all encompassing” construction estimates for future capital project to be incorporated into FY plan. Assist EAM facilities with renovations and emergency work.
