The selected candidates’ task encompasses the following: develops, tests, and integrates network configurations with COTS network components, GFE, NSA type 1 encryptors, and radio/terminal systems. Basic Qualifications: • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. DoD Preferred. • Active Secret Security Clearance • 8570 IAT Level II Certification • Experience with network engineering, including development and configuration, including Layer 2 networking fundamentals; VLANs, Trunking, Ether-channels, spanning-tree. And layer 3 technologies like Sub-Interfaces and routing protocols. • Experience with Cisco components, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls • Quick learner • Ability to adapt to rapid change • Subnetting IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior Air Defense Experience • Experience with SAFe Agile • Experience with Army Tactical Radios & Terminals • Familiar with IPv4 and IPv6 multicast. • Cisco CCNA and Sec+ • Experience with STIGs and how they’re applied to network devices.
