The candidate will perform job duties as a Jira Administrator including the following: Workflow Management – managing and maintaining the process workflows for each team and the program. Designing and configuring Jira workflows to match the organization’s processes. System Maintenance – monitoring Jira performance and addressing any issues. Aligning procedures from different programs to current processes and ensuring the Jira instance is running efficiently. Creating and maintaining automations to reduce manual effort of repetitive tasks, improve consistency, and increase efficiency and productivity by enabling team members to focus on other activities. Create auto-generated notifications to appropriate personnel needing immediate attention. Integration – managing 3rd party plugins and integrations, to include integrating Jira with other tools and systems. Project Management – creating and organizing projects within Jira. Configuring project settings with unique issue types, priorities, and resolution. Creating and refining custom fields and items specific to each team. User Management – managing users/groups/permissions within Jira. Assigning roles and permissions to specified groups/users. Basic Qualifications: Associate degree and 4 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or master’s degree and 0 years of experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Hands-on experience with the Atlassian product suite. Demonstrated experience in writing Python scripts. Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Broad knowledge of systems administration to include multiple technologies (i.e., Windows, Linux, Cisco, VMware, NetApp). Experience working with Atlassian migrations and upgrades. Experience with Tableau dashboards and metrics.
