Summary: The Resort Transportation Driver is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their luggage and providing other services as needed. The successful candidate is professional, personable, and has excellent customer service skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Pickup, transport, and drop off Resort guests to and from Resort, Theme Park, Water Park and Safari.
  • Safely load and unload luggage in and out of vehicles.
  • Converse with guest while providing information on the property, resort, and amenities offered.
  • Complete parking registration and pre-check in for guests upon their arrival.
  • Maintain cleanliness of transportation vehicles.
  • Transport guest and luggage from Resort Lodge to their accommodations and explain room features.
  • Ensure the appropriate amount of transport vehicles and seats are available prior to guest arrival based on reservation size.
  • Communicate guests needs and information to Front Desk staff in a timely manner.
  • Store luggage in an organized and safe manner as needed.

How You Will Do It:

  • Adhere to Six Flags Great Adventure Resort Driving Policies.
  • Operate the Front Desk system to confirm arrival times, reservation size, and complete vehicle registration.
  • Answer telephone calls from internal and external guests/customers as well as inter-departmental calls.
  • Utilize a radio to communicate information in a timely manner.
  • Compliance with communication protocols for telephone and email.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts.
  • Must have valid New Jersey Drivers License with clean driving record.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • For safety purposes, this individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Opera software preferred.
  • Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior guest services experience required.
  • Must have a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to perform tasks safely and adhere to company policy.
  • Ability to share all possible hotel and safari knowledge as trained.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
