The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking Principal/Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality. What You’ll get to Do: Plan and support the core functions and ensure the project team has qualified staff to execute the program core functions. Support close out program reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc. Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements. Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle. Oversee configuration management of the overall Program Baseline. Serve as the Logistics and Supportability Interface ensuring that all applicable specialty engineering disciplines horizontally integrate across applicable phases of the program lifecycle. Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs). Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule. Oversee the establishment and execution of the program lifecycle and work products. Support the transition of the project to the operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders. Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline. Align measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals and objectives. This position is contingent upon clearance. This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD. This position can be filled at the Principal Cyber Systems Engineer OR the Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer. Qualifications for both are listed below. Basic Qualifications for Principal Cyber Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a science discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 years of experience. Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML). Demonstrated Experience working with CAMEO. Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification. Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management. Experience in systems development, integration, and test. Active DoD TS/SCI with CI-poly security clearance business requirements. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a science discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of experience. Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML). Demonstrated Experience working with CAMEO. Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification. Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management. Experience in systems development, integration, and test. Active DoD TS/SCI with CI-poly security clearance business requirements. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications for Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Experience with ASIC design, FPGA firmware, and/or Device Fabrication. Demonstrated Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, Focus on PDR to CDR. Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems. Software Systems Experience. i.e. Software Requirements, Software Interface Definition. Experience with overseeing Software Integration and Test. i.e. Software Unit tests, Software Integration Tests, and Software User Acceptance Tests.
