Safety Manager

At Manpower, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve. Our client is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to lead their safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Working with employees, contractors, Federal and State agencies and plant management to assure a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and best practices.
• Collaborate with management to create a proactive safety culture and ensure continuous improvement.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend measures for prevention.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in safety management.
• Using computer skills to explain, train and educate all levels of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial hygiene or health and safety
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in safety management or a related role.
• Leadership skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Safety Management System (ISO 45001)
• Health and Safety labor law/legal requirements
• Safety Tools (JSA, field interaction, Take 5, etc)
• Knowledge of safety management tools (Cority, Enablon)
