About The Position

A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Chalmette, Louisiana.
This position includes 34 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APC coverage daily, with APCs scheduled from 9 AM to 9 PM. Shifts are 10 or 12 hours, with blocked scheduling available. The facility sees an annual volume of 28,415 patients, has 10 ED beds, and an 8.7% admission rate. Candidates must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. The EMR system used is Epic.
